Extension to closure of Borallion Road (Navan) from Friday 5th March 2010 6pm to March Thursday March 11th 6pm - to facilitate pipe laying works. Diversions in place.

Navan Town Council has made an order to extend the temporary road closure of L-8010-0 (Cr362) Borallion to through traffic from the junction with L-4009-0 (Cr369) to the junction with R161 Trim Road
The extension to the temporary road closure is to facilitate facilitate the installation of valves, swobbing and chlorination of new 450mm Ductile Iron watermain as part of Contract 3 of the Navan & Mid Meath Water Supply Scheme.

The extended closure will continue from 6pm on Friday 5th March 2010 to 6pm Thursday 11th March 2010
Alternative Routes:
Traffic travelling north on the R161 Trim Road, continue past the Borallion at Balreask Crossroads for approx. 2.5km into Navan to the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Circular road and travel for approx. 375m to traffic lights, take a right onto the N3 and travel for approx. 2.4km taking a right at Kilcarn (The Willows) and travel for 220m to the Borallion.
Travelling north on the L-4009-0 continue past the Borallion for approx. 220m to the N3 junction (The Willows), take a left onto the N3 and continue for approx. 2.4km to the 1st set of traffic lights, take a left onto Circular Road and continue for approx. 375m to the roundabout, take the 1st exit on the roundabout and continue on the R161 Trim Road for approx. 2.5km to Balreask Crossroad.
Note: Diversion signs will be placed.
Local Access:
Residents and property holders will be facilitated with access throughout the closure period.
Meath County Council would like to aplogise for any inconvenince during this time.
